Who we are, and how we are set up

A logistics company that works for organisations whose operations are audited, scrutinised and sometimes urgent. That shapes how we work more than the sector does.

What we do

We coordinate the physical side of operations that cross borders: port calls, fuel, air movements, land transport, base support and the paperwork that lets each of those happen. The client deals with one coordinator. The ports, the customs offices, the handling agents and the suppliers deal with us.

We are not a supplier of any one of those things. We are the counterparty that holds them together, which means our interest is in the operation working, not in selling a particular line of it.

Who we work for

Three groups, planned with the same discipline: relief organisations and non-governmental organisations, government agencies and defence ministries, and sail training programmes. The operations are different. The requirement underneath them is the same — a single point of contact, suppliers checked before they are used, and an account that can be audited afterwards.

How we are set up

A coordinator takes a file and keeps it until it closes. That person deals with the client directly and is not a relay to someone else. Where an operation crosses several areas, the coordination between them stays with us rather than being handed back.

Suppliers are engaged in our name and paid on their own terms. That matters more than it sounds: an agent who is not certain of being paid is an agent who does not commit, and in places where the local market has no exposure to public payment cycles, that is the usual reason a call slips.

What we do not do

We do not make facilitation payments, and we say so to suppliers in writing before work starts. Where a port or an agent makes that difficult, we tell the client rather than absorbing it quietly.

We do not hold ourselves out as approved, accredited or cleared by anyone. Where a certification exists it is named, with its scope and its issuer. Where one does not, we describe what we can do instead.

Where we work

What matters operationally is not where a desk sits but where support can be coordinated. That is set out on the coverage page.

Tell us what the operation needs, not what you think we sell

Ports, airfields, dates, volumes. Whatever is fixed so far is enough to start from.
